Ski Alp Race Dolomiti di Brenta 2013

39th edition of the Ski Alp Race – Dolomiti di Brenta, the exciting mountaineering ski race on the snow of the Brenta Dolomites.

The race started in 1975 and for 13 years it took placed in Pinzolo. In1988 it moved to Madonna di Campiglio with a warm welcome.

At the end of this extraordinary and technical course (18,5 km long and 1.835 mt of height difference), the Ski Alp Race - Dolomiti di Brenta will crow the new champion couples.

Race course

From  Boch refuge uphills to Grostè top, with about 800 mt of height difference. First seal skins change and then downhill from

Campaniletto dei Camosci to Vallesinella path. From here the skiers go downhill for 600 mt to Castello di Vallesinella and then uphills again, to Bocca di Sella (2.760 mt).

Now again downhill along a course with a maximum slope of  40% and the last great ascent to Passo Grosté, before reaching the finishing line.

Golden book

Among the greatest champions there are William Bon Mardion, Roberta Pedranzini and Francesca Martinelli,  Eydallin, Troillet, Reichegger, Pellissier, Roux e Calliari.
