Exhibition of the 1915-1918 Adamello Battles (the so-called White War)
Description: Created in 1973 on the initiative of two cousins, Giovanni Pellizzari and Sergio Collini, and in memory of the soldiers who died during the First World War, this Museum collects and exhibits what was retrieved on the glaciers of Adamello from the First World War. War material, personal belongings, clothes, sledges, skis, documents, photographs and books which offer the visitor detailed information on  the First World War. The Museum is now a cultural association and it has been recently recognized by the Province of Trento as a Permanent Exhibition. It is housed at Spiazzo Rendena Secondary Schools.

Museo della Malga at Palazzo Bertelli at Caderzone (alpine pasture museum)
Description: Monothematic museum preserving the material evidence of the work done in the various Alpine summer pastures situated in the territory of the Giudicarie valleys. It exhibits the tools that time and experience have enhanced and that are used in the processing of milk and its by-products. It is housed on the ground floor of the stud-farms at rion Lodron-Bertelli at Caderzone in Rendena Valley.

Centre of Glaciology

The Centre of Glaciology "Julius Payer", hosted in the Mandron mountain hut on the Adamello, at a height of 2430 m a.s.l., was inaugurated in 1994. Named after the Austrian officer Payer, one of the first climbers to ascend the Adamello (1864), the Centre was established by SAT (Trentino Mountaineers’ Society) in collaboration with theTrentino Natural Science Museum.  

The development of research and the popularization of glaciology are two of its main goals, especially with respect to the Adamello-Presanella group. Arranged in the old Mandron mountain hut, the Centre offers a year-round exhibition on glaciers and mountain environment. Training courses are also held there, combined with the possibility of an overnight stay at the nearby Città di Trento Mountain Hut. The Centre of Glaciology can be reached from Val Genova.
