With 620km2 (over 153,000 acres) of nature, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park comprises, to the west, the Adamello-Presanella group and its majestic glaciers, roaring streams, spectacular waterfalls and beautiful lakes. To the east, the park embraces the spectacular Brenta Group, a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Between these two geologically different realms, we find a great many valleys, such as Val Genova, Val Brenta, Vallesinella and other pristine offshoots, each with their own, enthralling landscapes.
The park organizes a great many recreational and educational activities designed especially for kids, both tourists and residents of the area.
In summer in particular, nature holidays come into their own, with excursions, hikes, learning laboratories and other activities for the whole family and for nature lovers generally.
The park has numerous information points where you can learn more about the activities organized, as well as about the park itself.
The Parco Card is another important initiative, which, in summer, gives you access to discounts and other incentives for excursions, alternative transport and other activities.
In order to protect the network of valleys and promote the use of public transport, the park, in collaboration with Azienda per il Turismo (ApT) and the city, organizes a system of alternative transport during the summer, which includes shuttle buses and trams that help tourists move around the area and get to valleys such as Val Genova and Vallesinella.
