Map of the itineraries of trekking and excursions in Pinzolo Val Rendena

The topographic- hiking map of the Madonna di Campiglio itineraries, and around it, is a professional GPS map  with an illustrated guide of the trekking itineraries, on a 1:33.000 scale.

The map, producted by 4Land alpine cartography, uses the same cartography of the Trentino alpine rescue and has the detailed description of 9 itineraries (type of  itinerary, difficulty, time, distance, starting altitude, maximun altitude, height difference), besides a short description of  4 suggested itineraries.

Through the Dolomiti di Brenta, the trails reach some of the most famous rifugi (chalets) – Rifugio Graffer, Rifugio Tuckett e Sella, Rifugio Brentei, Rifugio Alimonta, Rifugio Casinei, and Rifugio XII Apostoli – at the foot of majestic peaks. Hikes and start from the bottom of the valley or from higher up the mountain, thanks to the ski lifts that take you quickly to higher elevations. For those of you looking for a more intimate setting, Val Brenta and Valagola are ideal destinations.

On the Adamello and Presanella side, the wood, lakes and rivers dominate the landscape. The great many trails take you through the woodlands to small alpine lakes (S. Giuliano, Ritorto, Nambino, and the lakes of Cornisello) nestled in inimitable, almost lunar settings, or through the region’s pristine valleys, such as Val Genova and Val Nambrone.

So there’s something for everyone, from trekking in the Dolomites to walks in the mountains, for friends and family alike, thanks to the services that Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo and Val Rendena have to offer, including chalets, restaurants in the mountains, and ski lifts, as well as alternative transport so that you don’t need your own car and the all the safety of professional alpine guides.

The new Dolomiti di Brenta Trek, a double ring around the Brenta Group for mountain trekking, has recently been inaugurated. “Dolomiti di Brenta Trek” is for two different types of trekker. The “expert” trail was designed for trekkers in good physical form who want to experience the mountains in all their glory, staying overnight in high-altitude rifugi (chalets) and other shelters, whereas the “country” trail is for anyone looking for a less strenuous mountain walk through nature and culture and with the luxury of relaxing in comfortable hotels after the day’s hike.
