Banda Osiris | Wind Orchestra of the F.lli Bonporti Conservatory of Trento and Riva del Garda
On the panoramic Pradalago terrace, which for one day is being transformed into a stage for "Pierino! E il Lupo?" by Banda Osiris, you can soak up the magnificence of the Brenta peaks. Banda Osiris makes a joyful comeback to I Suoni delle Dolomiti with a project that typifies this band's artistic character. The group reinterprets Prokof’ev’s work in their own style, subtly drawing the audience into his comic and surreal world. The journey is enriched by the Wind Orchestra of the F.A. Bonporti Conservatory of Trento and Riva del Garda. As daring musicians and pioneers of musical fusion, the four artists and the orchestra put their own spin on this famous musical fairytale by Sergej Prokof’ev, which tells of a child who, with his animal friends, manages to capture a ferocious wolf. In the original score, the characters are represented by different orchestra instruments, while Banda Orisis’s version features highly comic musical surprises oozing with plot twists.
