From the bridge on Sarca river, near the fish breeding in Villa Rendena, take the bicycle lane northward along the river up to “Masere” green area in Pelugo. From here, leaving the area on the right, keep going left and go southward along the secondary road that crosses the meadows and the rural area between Pelugo and Vigo Rendena and then between Vigo and Darè. When you reach St. Rocco little church (point of interest nr 3), turn on the left and go to “Val Rendena” camp site and Sarca river. Cross the bridge and go to the road along the left orographic side of the river, coming back to Villa Rendena.
Near “Al Sarca” green area in Vigo Rendena, cross the bridge and take on the left the dirt road towards “Masere” green area in Pelugo. From here keep going left and the road southward, which crosses the rural zone and the meadows between Pelugo and Vigo Rendena, up to the typical “Four faces” capital (point of interest nr 5). Go uphill to the square of the “Famiglia Cooperativa” supermarket and then to the “Grotta” (cave) (point of interest nr 8), a little sanctuary dedicated to Madonna di Lourdes. On the left you find a path, that changes into a paved road, up to the first houses of Darè: here turn right towards Javrè and then to Villa Rendena and Verdesina. From here, cross the village, go downhill eastward as far as the state highway, go to the bicycle lane and to “Oltresarca” zone. Just after the fish breeding, take the road on the right uphill to “Boceniga” area (from here there is more difficult alternative road up to “Madonnina” area), then go downhill to the bridge on Sarca river in Darè. Follow the left orographic side of the river and reach, through a little pinewood, “Al Sarca” green area in Vigo Rendena. From here there is a more difficult alternative road along St. Vili path (Sat 300) (point of interest nr 16).
From Villa Rendena, in 15 minutes, go uphill along a paved road towards “Pafsang” area with its little church (point of interest nr 9) and the wonderful panorama on Rendena Valley. Go on for about 20 minutes and reach the fork to Verdesina. To reach the Pec spring of ferruginous water walk for 5 minutes more, following directions. Then come back to the typical historic center of Verdesina.
From Vigo Rendena, near “Dai Baltram” (point of interest nr 14) fountain, go uphill along the suggestive Calvera old street up to meet a dirt forest road. From here you reach easily a capital dedicated to Holy Virgin (point of interest nr 6) with a panoramic view on the village. Go back to the forest road, turn right and enter into the wood up to the crossroads with the paved road that goes uphill to San Valentino valley; then go downhill along the old dirt road to Darè and then to Vigo Rendena. It is also possible to walk the lower road betweeen Vigo and Pelugo: pass Pelugo westward and then reach southward Ceresina valley in Vigo Rendena through the old terraced grounds between the two villages.
From Manzoni square in Javrè, where there is “Cassa Rurale Spiazzo-Javrè” bank (on its wall you can see a painting realized by Gianluigi Rocca in 1986), go uphill westward and then along a path to Nizzone mountain and to the suggestive panoramic San Valentino church (point of interest nr 10) inside the frescos by Simone Baschenis. From here the typical Rendena landscape of middle altitude starts, with its mountain houses in stones and wood, surrounded by wide meadows and pastures. Go on and reach a votive capital in “Bressanina” area; then folllow directions to Gork refuge in San Valentino valley (point of interest nr 19), one of the more interesting valley of Adamello Brenta Nature Park. From Gork refuge come back along another path that crosses Villa Rendena, after passing Cerion gorge and the homonymous waterfall on Bedù river.
From the center of Villa Rendena, go uphill in 15 minutes and reach “Pafsang” area, with a wonderful panorama on Rendena Valley, a typical little church (point of interest nr 9) and a centuries-old chestnut tree. From here go uphill along a path to Pozza area, go along a flat route and then downhill to Palù area and again to “Pafsang” area and to Villa Rendena. Along the route you can see the typical herdsman’s huts (“ca’ da mont”) in green meadows.
From Vigo Rendena, when you reach “Dai Baltram” (point of interest nr 14) fountain, go uphill westward along the old road towards Calvera zone. It is an old dirt road that crosses woods of fir trees and beech trees. Pass the Madonna capital (point of interest nr 6), go straight ahead on the right and go uphill to Prà da Fera and then to Casal, finding the road that goes downhill to San Valentino valley (point of interest nr 19). From here go at first downhill and then slightly uphill, cross the mountains of Villa Rendena up to Savarole, go downhill to the center of Verdesina and to Villa Rendena, Javrè and Darè; in the end come back to the starting point in Vigo Rendena. This route follows old mule tracks and mountain roads that stretch among mountains, meadows and woods.
