A great evening of Theatre with Antonio Cornacchione, joined by Pino Quartullo and Alessandra Faiella, in a humorous and profound story of solidarity and humanity, organized by the Giudicarie Community in collaboration with the local municipalities.
Palmiro, a printer on the verge of bankruptcy, lives in a public housing
apartment owned by the regional government, registered in the name of his deceased
parents several years ago, despite not having the right to do so.
To avoid paying severance pay to his only employee, a Hungarian woman
with whom he is secretly in love, he offers her a live-in
room ,
providing her room and board.
One day, he is evicted and the apartment is assigned to a
family of Roma origin; he thus finds himself at the center of a political dispute between
social centers that want to evict him, and neo-fascists who
defend him in exchange for an ideological endorsement that
will severely test his political certainties.
Palmiro emerges profoundly changed, becoming a hero,
in spite of himself.
