Andrea Chesi
Andrea Chesi, born in 2003, lives in Spiazzo-Rendena Valley.
She graduated at the Mountain High School and is on the verge of becoming a Ski Instructor.
Since her childhood, she has been practicing competitive skiing in Madonna di Campiglio, where she is member of the “Madonna di Campiglio Sporting Club” and trains under the guidance of Enrico Bresadola.
Since the 2019/2020 winter, as a member of the Trentino Skicross Committee, she has started to gain her first real competition experience in this discipline, which she describes as “simply fantastic”.
In winter 2020/2021 she started to collect her first results in European Cup circuit, obtaining numerous “top 10” and points which allowed her to participate in world-class competitions.
At the Absolute Italian Championships, she won the Junior Italian title and the second absolute place.
At the Junior World Skicross Championships in Krasnoyarsk-Russia, she gained the 9th place in the individual race and won the silver medal in the team event, together with the teammate Simone Deromedis.
At the end of a season full of satisfaction, Andrea was called up by the National Skicross Team.
After the last season signed by an injury, Andrea is in the starting gate, ready for new challenges and goals.
