Lago di Nambino
38086 Madonna Di Campiglio
Distance: Km ( about) to reach us.
Starting from .
A short distance from Madonna di Campiglio, where there are no cars nor ski slopes, is lake Nambino, a pearl amidst the woods, with the Brenta Dolomites behind and the refuge overlooking the water. Up here, you’ll feel like you’ve entered a fairy tale world to discover if indeed, as the legend goes, a dragon lies in the waters of this mountain lake. Children can play in the large meadow while their parents take a rest on the terrace. And if you decide to spend the night in one of the beautiful wood-panelled rooms, the Serafini family - who have run the refuge since 1933 - will have your luggage brought up by ropeway conveyor.
Every day from 15 June to late September
From early December until Easter Monday; the rest of the year weekends only
Before leaving for your hike, always contact the manager to verify the actual opening of the mountain hut
From the Refuge you can walk to lake Serodoli (3 hrs 20 mins, difficulty E) and from there continue on the “5 Lakes” trail to lake Ritorto (2 hours, difficulty E), both routes within the abilities of all walkers.
