More than 50% km of ski runs open in the Skiarea Campiglio for the winter season opening
The season has started under the most auspicious star. A lot of skiers expected during the first weekend of the winter season.
On Thursday, December 6, the conn ection to Pinzolo will open, completing the opening of the whole Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Val di Sole Val Rendena.
From Friday, December 7, 79% of the lifts and more than 50% of the ski runs of Madonna di Campiglio will open.
Moreover, also the four ski areas of Grosté, Pradalago, Spinale and 5 Laghi will open, perfectly covered with snow and ski connected.
In Madonna di Campiglio, 40 km of ski runs of different difficulty are open and the Ursus Snowpark is open too. From December 7, the following 15 ski lifts will open, every day from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm:

Ticket offices open: 5 Laghi, Pradalago, Grosté and Spinale, from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. Up to Sunday 9, it is still possible to buy the seasonal ski pass with the the advance sale price.
The SKI AREA CAMPIGLIO DOLOMITI DI BRENTA will open with very good conditions, thanks also to the snow programmed system by Funivie Folgarida-Marilleva (16 lifts and 13 ski runs) and the opening of Funivie Pinzolo on December 6 (8 lifts and 4 ski runs).
So, 48 lifts out of 58 (83% on the whole) and 41 ski runs out of 97 (42% on the whole) will open, equivalent to more than 50% of the total kilometers.
A good start of the season, supported by the temperature drop expected from December 9, will allow the three lift companies of the ski area, to complete the opening of the lifts and the ski runs for the Christmas festivities.
New lifts and wider pistes
The novelty of the Campiglio Dolomiti ski area for the 2018-19 winter season makes the skiing experience more exciting and comfortable. Here what's going on in the biggest ski area of Trentino region:

Madonna di Campiglio novelty:
- Widening of Amazzonia slope (n.57), new snow-making system
- New snow-making system on Malga Zeledria-Campo Carlo Magno slope (n.54)
- New snow-making system in the first part pf the slope F.I.S.3-Tre
- Widening of Spinale Diretta slope (n.73) in the track between Montagnoli Lake and the end of the slope served by a new a snow-making system
- New Fossadei chairlift: the old lift will be replaced by a 6 seat-chairlift
- it will transport 1800 persons/h
- the journey will last 3 min and 3 seconds
- it will be more safety with the kidstop system
The chairlift is the link between Prà Rodont area and Malga Cioca, the best place in Pinzolo skiing offer for beginners and kids. The chairlift serves easy (blue) slopes and it is the link between the beginner area and the intermediate pistes.
Two new stations will replace the oldest and the new replacement will avoid a difficult gradient for the beginners.
With these improvements, Pinzolo confirms itself as a family-friend resort, validating its policy as first "Alta Val Rendena Family District".
