LA PECORA BLU: presentation of the book La pecora blu with author Nicola Cozzio
PROGRAMME:
5.30 p.m.: at the Castagneto di Carisolo.
"The Blue Sheep" is a novel set in the near future where, under a single world government, humanity is divided at planetary level into two distinct societies and human types.
On the one hand, a hyper-technological society, on the other, human groups who, by choice, birth or compulsion, live in autonomous enclaves following a completely natural and archaic life.
The novel deals with a love that ended tragically and highlights the social, ethical and intellectual differences of the two worlds, represented by episodes in the lives of the protagonists and other well-characterised figures.
In the background is the theme of the exploitation of water resources that are running out and the presence of a mysterious transgenic animal.
"Visionary and topical, a possible future, a desirable redemption."
"In a future that is already present where man can still choose his own destiny."
