Book Presentation: The Blue Sheep
With the author Nicola Cozzio
The Blue Sheep is a novel set in the near future, in a world governed by a single global authority where humanity is divided into two clearly distinct societies and human types. On one side, a hyper-technological society; on the other, human groups who—by choice, birth, or coercion—live in autonomous enclaves, following a fully natural and archaic way of life. The novel tells the story of a love that ends in tragedy, while highlighting the social, ethical, and intellectual contrasts between the two worlds through episodes from the lives of the main characters and other vividly portrayed figures. In the background: the issue of dwindling water resources and the enigmatic presence of a mysterious transgenic animal.
