This is a demanding and spectacular route that goes to Val Nambrone. The trail is almost entirely on smooth paved roads with little traffic. Despite that, their slopes do require training and good preparation for tough climbs. From Carisolo along the “old” road, you arrive first to the village of St. Anthonio of Mavignola and, going down the highway for a short distance, you will take the road to Val Nambrone. Here, at about 1100 m of altitude, begins a steep and steady climb that leads directly to the highest point at 2120m. This grueling climb allows the team extraordinary views of the Brenta Dolomites and Presanella from the top of the mountain, in the Laghi alpini di Cornisello reagion. You will use the same trail on the way down to the Rifugio Nambrone (to practice some technique, here you may take a separate path down which crosses the alpine meadows of Selva and then meets up to the main road of Carisolo).
