What the GGN Transfer Service is
The GGN Transfer Service is a group shuttle service at highly competitive rates between Madonna di Campiglio/Val Rendena and the major airports of northern Italy (MXP, LIN, VCE, VRN, BGY) running for the 8th International Conference on UNESCO Global Geoparks. It is to be available September 9-10, 2018, from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. in order to reach the event location and on September 15, 2018, back to the airport for departures from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.
Selection of the type of vehicle to be used is at the sole discretion of the organizers.
Organizers of the transfer service
The GGN Transfer Service is being organized by Madonna di Campiglio Azienda per il Turismo S.p.A. (hereinafter the Tourist Association).
Reservations, payment and security
Reservations for the service are to be made by no later than September 2, 2018.
Reservations are to be considered confirmed upon completion of payment by credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Once payment has been made for a booking, you will receive an e-mail message with the voucher (receipt) and a summary of the service details. You must present the voucher to the driver upon arrival.
Receipts for payment are also available at the offices of the Tourist Association in Via Pradalago 4, Madonna di Campiglio (TN), Italy.
The virtual POS payment service used to process payments ensures the privacy, integrity and authentication of sensitive data.
Data privacy and integrity are ensured by way of SSL3 certification, which encrypts the sensitive data being exchanged so that it is illegible to third parties. The service provider will never see data related to credit cards, as this data is handled solely by the virtual payment service.
Authentication is ensured by way of the 3D Secure protocol used by Visa and MasterCard to identify products related to the two circuits. When making payment, cardholders will need to enter their personal password (provided when signing up with the issuer of the card). This password is required in order to make online purchases via virtual POSs that are a part of the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode networks.
Reservations may be cancelled for any reason, without penalty, by no later than September 2, 2018, by notifying the Tourist Association directly at the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org.
For cancellations received by the Tourist Association after this date, you will be charged for the entire cost of the service.
Drop-off and pick-up points, identifying the shuttle
The shuttle may stop at other airports along the route.
In Madonna di Campiglio and throughout the Val Rendena area, the drop-off and pick-up points will be determined after all bookings have been received in a manner that minimizes the distance between the stop and the final destination, while also covering multiple destinations with a single stop. Pick-up and drop-off points will be provided to you in the same e-mail with the specification of the schedule.
The shuttle will be located in the arrivals area of the airport and clearly marked “GGN Transfer Service”. The shuttle leaving from Madonna di Campiglio/Val Rendena will also be marked in the same manner.
Wait times and handling delays
For arrivals, the maximum expected wait time at the airport is 3 hours. In the same way, for departures, pick-up times can be up to 3 hours ahead of the scheduled departure time. You will receive an e-mail with specific indications of the pick-up times for September 6-7, 2018.
Should you miss a shuttle due to a delay, the transfer service may still be provided on the following available shuttle with no additional cost.
You should be sure to bring the same number and type of bags indicated when making the reservation. Failure to do so may result in the driver refusing to provide the transfer service.
For organizational and safety reasons, pets are not allowed.
Food, alcoholic beverages, and smoking
Eating, drinking alcoholic beverages, and smoking are not allowed within the vehicles.
Upon making a reservation, you will receive confirmation via e-mail.
For the dates September 6-7, 2018, you will receive an e-mail with a detailed schedule of pick-up and drop-off times and places.
