Learn to ski and have fun: ski schools, miniclubs and family parks on snow

Ski with your children in Pinzolo

Prà Rodont, in Pinzolo, is particularly indicated for families with children and, in general, for who starts to ski.
Two easy ski runs suggested to people who ski for the first time: the first steps slope, with minimum gradients and a fun family park, Rendy Park, with a short obstacles path and a great travellator for baby-skiers.
If you are an expert skier the area offers different level ski runs.

Between ski rides, children from 3 to 8 years old can relax at the Tana di Rendy, a miniclub with animation, open from December 19 to March 20, every day from 10 am to 3 pm. Many are the activities offered: group activities, fairy tales readings, cooking lessons and much more.
In Prà Rodont, under the arrival of the lifts, a short and not too tender descend, is often occupied by those who enjoy sliding on snow with sledges or bobs.

If you want to eat at high altitude, without going too far from the slopes, two are the alternatives indicated with children: the self-service restaurant in Prà Rodont, in front of the first steps slope, or at the Doss del Sabion restaurant, 2.100 m high, reachable from Prà Rodont with the Rododendro 4-seats chairlift. From here the panorama is amazing! For not skiers, it’s possible to get back to Prà Rodont by chairlift.
Both restaurants are “Family Friendly activities” and they offer menus and special services for kids as high chairs, changing tables, and kids meals.

Scola sci per bimbi a PinzoloFor new skiers there’s also a great ski school for children, the Rendy Ski School which offers different programs: individual lessons, group 20 hours courses (for children under 13 years old) or 25 hour weeks (full day courses, for not beginners from 6 to 13 years old) with final competition and award ceremony of young participants. To complete the offer: group lessons for extra young kids (from 3 and a half years old to 5 years old) of 2 hours per day from Monday to Friday, with ski instructors and a tutor. Finally, a short-course, for who spends the weekend in Pinzolo, dedicated to kids from 5 years old.
Info and booking: +39 0465 501540 –

Do you need to rent the equipment? No problem: just at the start of the cable car, perfect for who has children, there is a well-furnished sport shop with professional salesmen ready to suggest the best equipment for your children. The rental also has a heated deposit to leave the equipment at the end of the day, without the need of bringing it back to the hotel.
