The event is part of the SUPERPARK initiative, visions of the author.
The project stems from the concept of active protection of the territory, proposing initiatives that go beyond the conservation of the territory, with a view to enhancing and raising awareness of both those who live outside the Park's borders and those who live within the protected area.
PROGRAM:
9.15 p.m. at Maso Curio - Caderzone Terme, screening of the documentary “Garima – For Nepal, Its People, and Their (Con)Traditions”
To film, score, edit, and independently produce a documentary that portrays Nepal not as the land of the Himalayas, but as the homeland of the Nepali people.
There are many ways to describe Nepal: as a country celebrated for its extraordinary natural beauty, attracting visitors from all over the world; as a developing nation facing significant challenges in healthcare, sanitation, infrastructure, and governance; as a country with a troubled past, a present marked by contradictions, and a future filled with promising opportunities.
While all of these narratives may hold some truth, what ultimately makes the difference is the dignity in the eyes of those who witness, and the dignity in the voices of those who tell their stories.
