The Alpine Group of Tione celebrates its centenary: 100 years of history, values and service to the community.
The year 2025 marks an important anniversary for the Alpine Group of Tione di Trento, which proudly celebrates 100 years since its foundation in 1925 on the initiative of General Tullio Marchetti, a prominent figure in the Trentino military panorama and promoter of Alpine values.
PROGRAMME:
FRIDAY 4 JULY
6.00pm: Inauguration of the photographic exhibition dedicated to the Group's history, with period images, documents and testimonies retracing a century of activities and values.
SATURDAY 5 JULY
8.30pm: Concert at the Tione Municipal Theatre with the ANA Re di Castello Giudicarie Rendena Choir and the Brenta Choir from Tione. During the evening, awards will be presented to former group leaders for their commitment and contribution to the growth of the association.
SUNDAY 6 JULY
9.00am: Gathering and parade through the village streets, starting from Bar San Vigilio.
To follow: celebration of the Holy Mass, wreath-laying at the War Memorial, and community lunch with the traditional Polenta Carbonera for all.
Afternoon: musical performances by the ANA Fanfare of Pieve di Bono and the Banda Sociale di Tione.
Finally: official closure of the celebrations and thanks to citizens and participants.
