DOLOMEET CARD ACTIVITY | Panoramic Via Ferrata Vidi
A scenic via ferrata route along the high ledges of Pietra Grande, partly exposed but not overly demanding, set in an area of outstanding geological and natural interest. The route follows beautiful ledges crossing the western face of Pietra Grande (2,937 m), creating a fascinating and less crowded itinerary.
PROGRAM:
8:30 AM: Departure from the Grostè Cable Car lower station.
8:30 AM: If the lift is closed, meeting point at Malga Zeledria.
The Via Ferrata Vidi runs along the ledges of Pietra Grande (2,937 m), offering a breathtaking panoramic route in an area of high geological and natural value. It crosses the mountain’s western face along spectacular natural ledges, with some exposed sections but without major technical difficulty. This is a scenic and less frequented via ferrata, ideal for those seeking an authentic mountain experience.
Alternative itineraries (if the Grostè cable car is closed):
June 18: Departure from Malga Zeledria, hiking towards Pradalago and continuing along the equipped Sentiero Ugo Bozzetto trail to Cima Zeledria, returning on foot.
September 17: Meeting point at the Pradalago Cable Car station, ascent by lift and access to the equipped Bozzetto trail.
