An experience combining art, history and nature to discover glass, its shapes and its deep connection with the local territory. From the Glass Museum to the Church of Santo Stefano, admire the evocative Vetrocenacolo together with guide Serena Bugna and an expert from the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
PROGRAMME:
9.30 am: Meeting point at the Sanctuary of Madonna del Potere in Carisolo
9.45 am: Guided visit to the Ancient Glassworks and the Glass Museum of Carisolo.
A journey through the tradition and art of glass, enriched with historical and cultural insights.
Approximately 10.35 am: Short walk to the Church of Santo Stefano, with talks by a guide from the Adamello Brenta Nature Park focusing on the natural environment and local landscape.
Approximately 11.00 am: Guided visit to the Church of Santo Stefano and the Vetrocenacolo with Serena Bugna.
Visit the historic church frescoed by the Baschenis family and discover the Vetrocenacolo, an extraordinary contemporary artwork that reinterprets the Last Supper through glass and light. The artwork also features the freshwater crayfish, symbol of pure waters and local biodiversity.
11.45 am: Short return walk through the charming Chestnut Grove, immersed in nature and accompanied by insights from a guide of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
Approximately 12.30 pm: Return to the starting point.
