On 12 and 13 July 2025, La Via delle Valli, the new hiking project connecting territories, stories and communities between the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Presanella glaciers, will officially start.
PROGRAMM:
Saturday 12 July
6 pm: at Palazzo Lodron Bertelli in Caderzone Terme.
Official presentation and video projections of the experience realised by Cammini d'Italia in some valleys. Followed by a congratulatory toast for the good start of this route traced together, whose official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be on Sunday 13 July in Valchestria.
Sunday 13th July
8.30 a.m.: Meeting point at the car park of the Tulot cable car in Pinzolo
8.45 a.m.: Transfer by organised bus to Sant'Antonio di Mavignola
10.30 a.m.: Arrival at the Clemp forts
12.00 noon: Arrival at Malga Valchestria
1.30 p.m.: Free tasting of polenta carbonera with the Pinzolo Alpine soldiers in Clemp.
Followed by mountain songs with the Carè Alto choir.
5.00 p.m.: Return to the valley and transfer by bus to the Tulot cable car in Pinzolo
The route:
Starting from Sant'Antonio di Mavignola, the route leads to Malga Valchestria, passing by the suggestive Clemp farms, a panoramic terrace overlooking the Brenta Dolomites and Presanella. A little-trodden but well-marked path ascends through the woods to the malga, with spectacular views and historical remains from the First World War. A must-see: the Clemp fort, built between 1914 and 1915, was part of a larger defensive system. Today its ruins remain, immersed in a landscape that tells stories of borders and resistance. Length: 7.3 km. Height difference: 664 m + / 664 m -. Difficulty: Medium.
