How many of us could name ten female artists without hesitation? This is the provocative question at the heart of the journey through art history that Jacopo Veneziani will present during the PARIDEE events. 'Don’t call them muses!' This is the title of the evening event to be held at the Hermann Zontini Auditorium in Storo.
PROGRAM:
8:30 PM: with Jacopo Veneziani. Stories, images, and anecdotes: Veneziani will guide the audience through the centuries to rediscover extraordinary female artists forgotten by art history. From the Renaissance to Abstract Expressionism, a narrative that breaks away from the dominant male discourse and restores space, voice, and recognition to female talents who left a profound mark on the visual culture of every era.
The event is part of PARIDEE, Fondazione Caritro’s initiative for gender equality.
The evening has received the patronage of the Municipality of Storo and the support of the Provincial Commission for Equal Opportunities between Men and Women.
What is PARIDEE?
Projects, collaborations, and events spread across the Trentino region, meeting the community through stories, perspectives, and reflections with the goal of promoting gender equality.
