The Roncone Pro Loco is organising the traditional patron saint’s festival in honour of the Feast of the Assumption - Madona d'Agost.
PROGRAMME
FRIDAY 14 AUGUST
5.00pm: opening of the lucky jar.
7.30pm: "Tasta & Gusta" through the village streets with local associations.
8.30pm: dance evening with Debora Band.
11.00pm: DJ set by Climax.
SATURDAY 15 AUGUST
10.00am: Holy Mass at the Church of Santo Stefano, followed by a procession.
11.30am: aperitif with the Roncone Social Band.
2.00pm: opening of the ‘vado della fortuna’.
2.00pm: games in the square
- face painting
- traditional games
- pony rides
- snack with crêpes and popcorn provided by the “Mamme tra terra e cielo”
- pairs’ morra tournament – sign-up on the day
6.00pm: Tyrolean-style happy hour.
7.30pm: dinner featuring polenta carbonera prepared by the Polenter group from Roncone, with musical entertainment by Marco Corradi.
8.30pm: ballroom dancing with “Ornella Nicolini” and group dances led by Brisilda throughout the evening.
11.00pm: DJ set by Climax featuring CarlG.
SUNDAY 16 AUGUST
10.00am: opening of the lucky draw and collection of race bibs.
2.00pm: Briscola tournament – register on the day.
4.00pm: start of the "Corsa dala Madona d’Agost" race – register here.
5.00pm: "Merlo Incappucciato" aperitif with the Roncone Pensioners’ Club.
7.00pm: Madona d’Agost pasta party and music with the Bohmische Judicarien.
8.30pm: Evening of music with the Boomerang.
