The Madonna di Campiglio tourist office is organizing a screening of the film “Il nucleo” (The Core).
PROGRAM:
9:00 p.m.: screening begins in the Sala della Cultura.
A woman dying after a head-on collision, a hiker rescued from a cliff, a man suffering a heart attack, a photographer saved from the waters of a frozen lake.
Four stories recounting the activities of the Trento helicopter unit: more than three thousand flights a year, mostly in the mountains, even at night. A behind-the-scenes journey, with interviews with pilots, doctors, nurses, volunteer firefighters, helicopter rescue technicians, mountain rescue technicians, and mechanics to discover a service that makes the difference between life and death every day.

After the screening, there will be a discussion on mountain safety and rescue with Andrea Selva, journalist and director of the film “Il Nucleo,” Piergiorgio Rosati - Flight operation manager of the Autonomous Province of Trento helicopter unit, Piergiorgio Vidi - helicopter rescue technician and national mountain rescue instructor - Marianna Spellini, anesthetist and resuscitation specialist with the Trentino Emergenze helicopter rescue team, and the live voices of Vilma Zanetti and Filippo Gambardella, two people who have been rescued.
