The association ‘Il Chiese’ and the B.I.M Consortium organise treks to discover the works located within the villages of the Valle del Chiese. By travelling through the valley in stages, you can learn interesting information about the culture and history of the area. There is a dedicated event for each village.
Stories and vicissitudes of the past century: an alternative route to reach the green plateau of Boniprati, which encapsulates its history of wars, turbines and cultivated pastures.
Leaving your car in the village of Castel Condino, you will reach Parco le Plaze, where the Monument to the Fallen of All Wars stands. Continuing towards Prezzo, shortly after the penstock that carries the water stored in the Boazzo Dam and used in the Cimego hydroelectric power station, you will leave the mule track for a small path that leads to Zepiro. The basin, dotted with a small group of houses, is reminiscent of the mountain life that populated these valleys until not so long ago. The route continues to Boniprati along mountain paths and cobblestone streets. Participation is free of charge.
