The association ‘Il Chiese’ and the Consortium B.I.M. organise treks to discover the works located within the villages of the Valle del Chiese. Walking through the valley in stages, you can learn and obtain interesting information on the culture and history of the area. for each village a dedicated event.
A journey through history and legend in the footsteps of Countess Dina. The church of Santa Giustina in Creto is a treasure trove of surprises: early medieval remains in the basement, a 13th-century portico and a cycle of 15th-century frescoes. But there is more. The surroundings of the church evoke the lesser-known version of the legend featuring Countess Dina Lodron, the infamous lady of Castel Romano above the parish church of Bono. After visiting the church, the route will follow a now disused path through the houses of Clusone towards the vanished castle of Bersone, tracing the itinerary of the legend to the presumed entrance of the secret tunnel that led to Castel Romano.
