Santa Barbara Castle

The Castello di Lodrone, also known as Castello Santa Barbara, was the oldest of the Lodron residences. The earliest records of it date back to the end of the 12th century when Calapino di Lodrone, a feudatory of the Appiano Counts, was already living here. It was gradually abandoned from the 16th century onwards.
