CETS – Phase III
On May 24, 2023, at Stenico Castle, the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) was awarded to the five Tourism Boards (ApT) operating within the Adamello Brenta Nature Park: APT Madonna di Campiglio, APT Val di Sole, APT Val di Non, APT Garda Dolomiti Trentino, and APT Dolomiti Paganella.
This important international recognition highlights a shared commitment to a kind of tourism that respects the environment, values local communities, and ensures a high-quality experience for everyone visiting the area.
The certification marks Phase III of the CETS, dedicated to the direct involvement of tourism businesses and local operators, following the first two phases, which focused on the protected area and participating accommodation facilities.
For our territory, this milestone confirms that it is possible to promote a form of tourism that generates well-being for both the environment and mountain communities, while countering depopulation and enhancing local resources.
What it means for our guests
- An authentic, environmentally conscious experience
- Sustainable choices by local operators: energy efficiency, responsible waste management, and soft mobility
- Collaboration among institutions, communities, and businesses to ensure a respectful and high-quality tourism offer
Our commitment
As an organization and as a territory, we proudly embrace this certification and commit ourselves every day to the principles of the CETS: responsible tourism, respect for natural and cultural resources, and shared benefits for the local community.
