Valleys, villages, peaks and mountain groups extend over 80 kilometres in an area dominated by the majestic Brenta Dolomites and Adamello Alps.
The area falls within the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and includes a variety of different environments: from Lake Idro at 370 metres above sea level and the cultivated fields of the Valle del Chiese to the peaks of Carè Alto, the permanent glaciers of the Adamello and the 3,500 metres-plus peak of the Presanella.
