The Val Rendena Chestnut Growers Association presents an immersive experience dedicated to agroecology and the relationship between agriculture, biodiversity and food. Participants will have the opportunity to explore vegetable gardens and cultivated fields, learn about regenerative agriculture and wild edible plants, take part in a guided foraging activity, and join a hands-on cooking workshop focused on enhancing the flavors and value of the harvested herbs and produce. The day will conclude with a convivial shared lunch celebrating local flavors and traditions. A unique opportunity to discover the deep connection between agriculture, nature and food, while rediscovering the value of wild plants and local agricultural products. PROGRAM:
9:30 AM: Meeting and welcome at Località Il Petar 1 (Azienda Agricola Il Petar, Mortaso - Spiazzo).
9:45 AM: Guided tour through vegetable gardens, cultivated fields and natural environments. A walk led by Stefano Delugan, focusing on agroecology, biodiversity, wild plants and regenerative farming systems.
11:30 AM: Collection of cultivated and wild edible herbs in the field.
12:00 PM: Practical cooking workshop. Preparation and culinary enhancement of the collected herbs, combining tradition, botanical knowledge and culinary creativity.
1:00 PM: Shared lunch.
