The association ‘Il Chiese’ and the Consortium B.I.M. organise treks to discover the works located within the villages of the Valle del Chiese. Walking through the valley in stages, you can learn and obtain interesting information on the culture and history of the area. for each village a dedicated event.
Discovering Pieve di Bono. Departing from the church of S. Giusitina in a short time, we reach Castel Romano, an ancient bastion of the Counts Lodron dating back to the 12th century, which is connected to the hamlet of Por and the church of San Lorenzo. The small hamlet of Por was destroyed during World War I and rebuilt from the rubble of the castel.
