The association ‘Il Chiese’ and the Consortium B.I.M. organise treks to discover the works located within the villages of the Valle del Chiese. Walking through the valley in stages, you can learn and obtain interesting information on the culture and history of the area. for each village a dedicated event.
In the ‘al Dos’ area of Storo, there are three sacred buildings of different sizes and origins to discover during ‘Palazzi Aperti’ (Open Buildings).
In the morning, we will first visit the church of Sant'Andrea, where the true origins of the village lie, a protohistoric agglomeration of semi-underground houses dating back to the Iron Age. We will then move on to the small church of Sant'Antonio da Padova, a private chapel connected to the nearby noble palace by an aerial passageway. We will then return to the church of San Floriano, patron saint of the village, for a detailed visit of the works of art and treasures that enrich it.
