Traditional Mountain Guides Ball
At Madonna di Campiglio, where the Brenta Dolomites are reflected in the woods and the air smells of resin and freedom, every summer one of the most evocative and authentic events in Alpine tradition comes to life: the Alpine Guides Ball.
It is an evening that smells of history and the mountains, an unmissable appointment that unites locals, tourists and fans of life at high altitude.
Piazza Lorenzetti is transformed into a stage under the sky: live music and the warmth of the people create an atmosphere of yesteryear. With determined steps and sincere smiles, the guides invite the ladies to dance, in a symbolic gesture that celebrates the welcome, respect and beauty of life in the mountains.
At the entrance to the square, the Alpine Guides present each lady with a rose. A number is hidden in the flower, the same number that will pair the luckiest lady with an Alpine Guide for the waltz dance with the exchange of the rope; a moment to celebrate the Event.
