The afternoon's guests will be Chiara Agostini and Diletta Capocchi, Tuscan teachers and creators of the “Chiaredilettanti” project, which has gained a large following on social media thanks to its ability to discuss books with a fresh, knowledgeable and accessible approach. Through their channels, they offer reading recommendations ranging from contemporary fiction to the great classics, with a direct and inclusive style that has attracted a wide and diverse audience. In recent years, their work has led them to collaborate with festivals and publishing houses, helping to spread a passion for reading beyond the digital realm.
The event will also feature the presentation of the 2026 initiative “Ogni prestito conta” (Every loan counts), created in collaboration with Le Botteghe di Tione, a project designed to promote the act of borrowing and strengthen the bond between libraries, readers and the local area.
PROGRAMME:
5.30pm: start of the meeting, during which they will present a wonderful list of books, designed as a real gift to the library's readers: an opportunity to discover new stories, exchange ideas and find inspiration for future reading.
Followed by: the conclusion of the 2025 initiative, with the final prize draw for the “Libri in sospeso” (Books on Hold) game, which has accompanied the library throughout the year, involving readers.
