The Alpine Guides of Madonna di Campiglio organise a weekly programme of activities and excursions for all guests.
PROGRAMME:
Meeting point at the Grostè cable car departure station (Loc. Fortini), briefing and equipment check.
After crossing the pastures of Campo Carlo Magno, the route enters the forest and, with a gentle uphill traverse, reaches Malga Vaglianella. From here, along a steep mule track, you will reach Malga Vagliana and continue towards Doss del Sparver. Once on the ridge, the trail passes below the scree slopes of Pietragrande and arrives near Rifugio Graffer, where a lunch break is scheduled.
The afternoon will be dedicated to avalanche self-rescue training and the use of avalanche safety equipment (transceiver, shovel and probe).
Return to the starting point following the ski slope.
