Excursion to the Hermitage of San Martino with local guide Michela Collini.
PROGRAM:
09.15 a.m. departure from the bus stop in front of the Carisolo town hall.
Ascent to the hermitage of S.Martino (altitude 1226m) following the path that climbs along a picturesque beech wood. On reaching the church, stop for a packed lunch with a panoramic view of Carisolo and the Genova valley.
3.00 p.m., descent along the same path to the crossroads leading to la Prisa. Visit to the church of S.Stefano and return through the ancient chestnut grove.

USEFUL INFO:
It does not present any particular difficulties but it is rather steep in places and there are a couple of exposed points, well protected by metal ropes.
It is essential to wear mountaineering boots or hiking shoes with non-slip soles.
