The Adamello Brenta Geopark is organizing the "LibriAMOci: pagine di Parco" (Let's Read: Park Pages) event, which will be held at the "Natura e Cultura" reading center in Carisolo until next spring. These events include the presentation of publications dedicated to the Parks' naturalistic, historical, and cultural themes.
PROGRAMME:
5.30 PM "The Alps: Starting Over. For a New Alliance Between Humanity and Nature."
A philosophical essay on the Alps as a paradigm of the evolution and decline of our social, cultural, and economic references. A region that has undergone profound transformation over the centuries, perhaps deceived by models that do not belong to it, yet retains strong identity traits that still persist throughout the Alpine region. But current scenarios, from climate change to demographics, from economic to environmental choices, require a profound reflection on what the Alps are today. The author invites us to consider them as a laboratory, to understand what we were in the past, what we have become today, and, above all, who we might be in the future.
