Forty years after the first winter ascent of Cerro Torre, the Municipality of Pinzolo, in collaboration with the Madonna di Campiglio Tourist Board, invites you to the evening event “Quelli del Torre...”.
We will retrace a legendary achievement that has recently returned to the spotlight thanks to the incredible first solo winter ascent by American climber Colin Haley.
This will be a special occasion for friends and mountaineering enthusiasts to remember Ermanno Salvaterra, together with the evening’s special guests: his climbing partners Maurizio Giarolli, Andrea Sarchi, and Paolo Caruso.
The event will be hosted by Alessandro Beber.
