On Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Pinzolo, the ceremony for the awarding of the 54th Silver Plaque of the International Alpine Solidarity Award will take place.
The recognition will be presented to Mircea Opris, mountaineer and pioneer of mountain rescue in Romania, for a life devoted with passion to the mountains and to rescue operations in extreme alpine environments.
The ceremony will be accompanied by the Presanella Choir of Pinzolo.
All members of the public are warmly invited to attend.
