Vaia S.r.l., the official sponsor of the Giro d’Italia, is organising a tree-planting initiative in Darzo.
Making a positive impact on the local area: this has always been VAIA’s mission, and it is also the aim of our partnership with the 109th edition of the Giro d’Italia. Three days of reforestation, three stages of the Giro, three areas to regenerate together.
But there is one important thing: trees don’t plant themselves. That’s why we want to do it together with you – sign up and come and plant trees with us!
PROGRAMME:
1.45pm: Meet at the Coop AGRI90 headquarters
2.00pm: Departure by dedicated minibus towards Località Faserno
2.40pm: Arrival and start of the hike towards Malga Spina. A route of approximately 2.5 km along a tarmac forest road, with an elevation gain of around 100 m, heading towards Malga Spina
From 3.30pm to 4.30pm: Tree planting activity, led by local partners and VAIA Srl
4.30pm: Return on foot to Faserno
Followed by: transfer by minibus to the car park
TARIFF:
Free entry but booking required.
ACCESSIBILITY:
The event meets the essential requirements to allow anyone to access and enjoy it independently.
