Beautiful via ferrata under Cima Falkner, among the ledges and peaks of the Brenta. Highly scenic, exposed but suitable for first approaches to via ferratas.
The beautiful Alfredo and Rodolfo Benini via ferrata leads, along aerial ledges, under Cima Falkner. Very scenic and quite frequented, it is suitable for those making their first attempts on equipped paths. The itinerary offers unique views of about ten Dolomite peaks reaching almost 3000 m altitude.
The convenient access via the Grostè cable car, the low difficulty, and the modest ascent make it a very popular route and recommended for beginners. However, the path should not be underestimated due to exposure in some sections and the high altitude at which it takes place.
Allow an additional 2-3 hours of walking from the end of the via ferrata to Vallesinella.
The high altitude and the geography of the path demand it be tackled only in stable weather conditions to avoid the possibility of severe thunderstorms, poor visibility, and icy sections for which the path is particularly prone.
