The refuge is immersed in a fairy-tale setting, dominated by the immense east face of Crozzon di Brenta and the imposing Cima Tosa, the most important peak of the group, along with Cima Brenta. It represents the starting point for the most important climbs in the massif and you will certainly spot climbers engaged on the walls or in their approach/return from climbs.
During the summer (2020) important restructuring works are being carried out. The refuge remains open as a refreshment point.
