Pleasant walk suitable for all through conifer forests up to the Ritorto pastures, remarkable viewpoint on the Brenta Dolomites. Walkable on foot or with snowshoes.
Simple excursion suitable for the whole family; it takes place entirely on a groomed snow road and is mostly flat. The itinerary winds through a forest of tall fir and larch trees of high natural value. The environment changes near the malga where dense shrubs of dwarf pine and pasture meadows prevail. Its incredibly panoramic position makes Malga Ritorto an exceptional point from which to admire the Brenta Dolomites chain; especially not to be missed at sunset when the rocks turn red. Thanks to the particularly sunny exposure, it is a natural terrace where you can enjoy many hours of sunshine from early morning until late afternoon. The Bar Restaurant is an excellent refreshment point where you can enjoy a hot drink or savor typical mountain tradition dishes.
Don't forget the camera. For children bring sleds or toboggans to pull them along the road and to slide down the gentle slopes of the malga. Along the route there are two refreshment points: the Patascoss Refuge at the start, and the Malga Ritorto at the arrival.
