Second half of the traverse of the Cadria ridges, as spectacular as the first but less complicated, while still maintaining the adrenaline component. You stay at the historic Pernici refuge, with a magnificent view.
From Malga Casinot you climb up to Bocca dell'Ussol and then towards Cima Gavardina (2,047 m), encountering some challenging sections (using hands in easy first-grade passages); then on towards Dosso della Torta (2,156 m, formerly the border between the Bondo sector and that of Riva del Garda), Bocchetta di Slavazza (2,048 m, fixed ropes), Tofino (2,151 m), Corno di Pichea (2,138 m), and Mazza di Pichea (1,879 m). From Bocca di Trat you descend to the 1,600 m of the Nino Pernici refuge (tel. +39 0464 505090 - 349 3301981, www.pernici.com).
