Out and back route that from Pinzolo, through waterfalls, mountain huts and refuges climbs the Val Genova, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park.
Out and back route of medium difficulty that from Pinzolo covers the 18km length of the Val Genova up to Rifugio Bebole.
Thanks to the low technical difficulty the route can also be tackled by beginner bikers and, with the use of E-BIKE, the ascent can be further facilitated. This valley, completely immersed in the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, hosts countless waterfalls, refuges and mountain huts. Moreover, the valley holds evidence dating back to the First World War, period in which the Val Genova, then under the rule of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, was the access route to the Adamello front.
In Val Genova mobility is limited but allowed: pay close attention to vehicles in transit, (shuttle buses and cars), especially during high season periods.
Arriving at Rifugio Bedole, for those who are not yet tired, the road continues for another kilometer up to the station of the Mandrone refuge cable car from where there is a good view of the valley. When facing the descent always pay maximum attention to cars coming in the opposite direction. In the high season it is recommended to tackle the route early in the morning or towards evening, when vehicular traffic is less intense. At locality Ponte Verde respect the one-way traffic (when in operation), then cross the bridge on the right and go around the basin of the dam.
