Discovering the 8 fountains of Storo.
Walking through the alleys of Storo means entering a place distributed in many small districts, sewn together through a work of urban redevelopment carried out during the 1800s. An intervention that profoundly changed the original urban layout, still appreciable today in the eight beautiful and elegant granite fountains that meet while walking through the town. A path enriched by the severe complex of Palazzo Cortella, now home to the Town Hall of Storo. Equipped with an arched portico with granite columns and frescoes, it is a structure rich in history but above all in historical anecdotes. It was in fact the seat, for a very short period, of the Garibaldi headquarters (1866), and in the same palace came the telegraphed message containing the order given to Garibaldi to leave Trentino followed by the famous "Obedisco".
