One of the oldest shops in Trentino and among the few surviving old commercial companies, continuously managed since 1847 by the Baldracchi family.
The "Botega da Strada", run today by Pietro (better known as Pierino) Baldracchi and his family in Strada, a hamlet of the Municipality of Pieve di Bono-Prezzo, was founded in 1847, when his great-grandfather Domenico Pietro, known as Minico, opened a commercial business in a winery in the town dedicated to the sale of products for shoemakers, then died in 1895 and left the shop now transformed into a shop where a little bit of everything was sold. The "botega da Strada" (with a "T" only because, the owners say, it is a small business) is today one of the oldest businesses in Trentino and among the few old companies that have survived. The Baldracchi family has always guaranteed the quality of the products and maximum availability in serving them, starting with home delivery.
