Malga Zeledria: a refuge of tradition and nature in the heart of Trentino
If you are looking for an experience that combines the beauty of nature with the agricultural tradition of Trentino, Malga Zeledria is the place for you. Immersed in the heart of the mountains, a few steps from Madonna di Campiglio and Passo Campo Carlo Magno, this hut is a corner of serenity where visitors often come, towards the time of the evening milking, when the cows gather to return to the stable. The hut, carefully renovated in 2000, perfectly blends tradition with the mountain environment, thanks to its local granite masonry and shingled roof. The farmhouse, which joins the stable, houses the tenant and the shepherds upstairs, while below, the dairy gives the authentic flavours of Trentino cheeses, including the famous casleti.
STRENGTH:
From the hut, the view of the Brenta group's mountains is breathtaking, with the Grostè and the Orti della Regina framing the landscape. Malga Zeledria is the starting point for numerous trails that will lead you to enchanting places such as Lake Maghette and the homonymous refuge, the Viviani refuge, and the Zeledria peak.
