Rifugio T. Pedrotti e Tosa, a refuge in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites.
The T. Pedrotti e Tosa refuge is located at an altitude of 2491m in the town of Sella della Tosa in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. Many paths start from the hut in connection with other Brenta huts, certainly the most frequented and most famous is the equipped path of the Bocchette Centrali that with a path on cengie crosses the Central Brenta chain. There are many climbs to the most famous and important peaks such as Tosa summit 3173m, Brenta high 3000m, Campanile Basso 2889m, Campanile high 2912m.
The T. Pedrotti e Tosa refuge can be reached from three different directions:
- From Molveno by chairlift to Pradel then in 4 hours on a comfortable path.
- From Madonna di Campiglio by public transport in Valesinella. Walking past various intermediate shelters, it reaches the Bocca di Brenta and briefly the refuge, with a walk of 3 and a half hours.
- From San Lorenzo in Banale halfway off road to the Cacciatore hut, then on a signposted path you reach the Agostini hut and continue to our hut in about 4 hours.
