Giovanni Caola, the Nordic skiing promise
Cross-country Skiing U23 Italian Team observers, class 1998: this is Giovanni Caola (Unione Sportiva Carisolo), from Trentino region.
A multidisciplinary athlete, with the best reasults in the sprint category, he would like to improve also for the distance.
In the 2016-17 season he got good placement in the Sprint Italian Championship: 4th and 3th position for Clusone and Cereda Pass. Gold medal for the Ski Nordic Festival in Tesero.
Goals for next winter season? Getting good results in the Italian and European Cup and the qualification for the World Championships, his great dream.
