Where Nature Meets Play: The Junior Park Is Coming to Life
On June 14th, 2025, in the heart of the stunning Malga Zeledria area at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites, the Junior Park Madonna di Campiglio will be officially inaugurated—a themed nature park entirely dedicated to the Alpine wildlife.
The Sculptures Designed for children, families, and mountain lovers, the park offers a unique educational and sensory experience through 18 life-sized wooden sculptures of iconic Alpine animals—such as the brown bear, golden eagle, deer, wolf, and marmot. These masterpieces were handcrafted by artists from the “La Busier” Wood School in Praso, with great attention to detail and deep respect for the surrounding environment.
The Panels Each sculpture is accompanied by informative panels that present the animals' habits, traits, and ecological significance in an engaging and accessible way.
Once a week, visitors can take part in “Mysterious Tracks”, an interactive activity that challenges them to identify footprints and clues left by the forest’s inhabitants—turning young and old alike into real nature detectives.
The Collaboration The project is the result of a meaningful collaboration between the Amici dei Sentieri Association, Studio Tarolli Campiglio, Pro Loco Campiglio, the Madonna di Campiglio Tourism Board, the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, the Spinale and Manez Community of the Regole, the municipalities of Pinzolo, Bocenago, and Tre Ville, as well as many local tourism operators.
A New Family-Friendly Experience The inauguration of the Junior Park marks a significant addition to the tourism offer of Madonna di Campiglio, promoting a sustainable and mindful tourism model that values biodiversity and environmental education.
The Junior Park is part of the Family District initiatives, a local network of public and private stakeholders committed to creating an accessible, sustainable tourism experience tailored to the needs of families.
